EXOHIRE® TERMS AND CONDITIONS IN RELATION TO HIRE.

1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern the hire and use of exoskeleton equipment and related services provided by EXOHIRE® ("EXOHIRE®", "we", "our", "us").
By making a booking, hiring equipment, accessing our website, or using any equipment supplied by EXOHIRE®, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not hire or use our equipment.

2. Definitions
"Equipment" means any exoskeleton, battery, charger, accessory, carrying case, component, software, or related item supplied by EXOHIRE®.
"Customer" means the individual or organisation entering into the hire agreement.
"User" means any person using the Equipment, whether or not they are the Customer.
"Hire Period" means the period commencing when the Equipment is collected or delivered and ending when it is returned and accepted by EXOHIRE®.

3. Eligibility
To hire Equipment, the Customer must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age.

  • Provide valid identification upon request.

  • Provide accurate booking information.

  • Meet any weight, height, physical capability, and health requirements specified by EXOHIRE®.

  • Not be under the influence of alcohol, illegal drugs, or medication that may impair judgement or coordination.

EXOHIRE® reserves the right to refuse hire at its sole discretion where safety concerns exist.

4. Health and Medical Responsibility
The Customer and User acknowledge that:

  • Use of an exoskeleton is a physical activity.

  • Exoskeletons do not eliminate the risk of injury.

  • Users are responsible for ensuring they are medically fit to participate.

  • Users should seek medical advice if they have concerns regarding suitability.

Users should not use the Equipment if they:

  • Have any condition affecting balance, mobility, coordination, or cognition.

  • Have recently undergone surgery or suffered significant injury.

  • Have any medical condition that may be aggravated by physical activity.

  • Are pregnant unless approved by a qualified medical professional.

The User accepts full responsibility for determining their fitness to use the Equipment.

5. Safety Requirements
The User agrees to:

  • Read and follow all instructions provided.

  • Complete any required induction or training.

  • Use the Equipment only as intended.

  • Wear suitable clothing and footwear.

  • Inspect the Equipment before use.

  • Immediately cease use if a fault, discomfort, or safety concern arises.

  • Operate the Equipment in a safe and responsible manner.

The User must not:

  • Modify the Equipment.

  • Attempt repairs.

  • Remove safety features.

  • Allow unauthorised persons to use the Equipment.

  • Use the Equipment recklessly or negligently.


6. Unsupervised Use
The Customer acknowledges that Equipment may be hired for unsupervised use.
The Customer accepts full responsibility for:

  • The safe operation of the Equipment.

  • Compliance with all instructions and warnings.

  • Any decision regarding terrain, weather, route selection, or activity undertaken.

  • Any injury, loss, or damage arising from use of the Equipment.

The absence of supervision does not transfer responsibility to EXOHIRE®.

7. Assumption of Risk
The Customer and User acknowledge that use of exoskeleton equipment involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:

  • Slips, trips, and falls.

  • Equipment malfunction.

  • Battery failure.

  • Muscle strain.

  • Joint injury.

  • Impact injuries.

  • Environmental hazards.

  • Serious injury or death.

The User voluntarily assumes all risks associated with the use of the Equipment.

8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, EXOHIRE® shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect losses.

  • Consequential losses.

  • Loss of income.

  • Loss of profits.

  • Loss of enjoyment.

  • Damage to personal property.

  • Injury arising from misuse of Equipment.

  • Injury arising from failure to follow instructions.

  • Injury arising from use beyond recommended limits.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where exclusion is prohibited by law, including liability for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence.

9. Equipment Condition
Equipment is supplied in good working order.
The Customer must inspect the Equipment upon receipt and notify EXOHIRE® immediately of any issue.
Continued use constitutes acceptance that the Equipment was received in satisfactory condition.
10. Loss, Theft and Damage
The Customer is responsible for the Equipment throughout the Hire Period.
The Customer shall be liable for:

  • Loss.

  • Theft.

  • Negligent damage.

  • Water damage.

  • Fire damage.

  • Impact damage.

  • Unauthorised modifications.

The Customer may be charged for repair, replacement, transport, inspection, administration, and associated costs.

11. Security Deposit
EXOHIRE® may require a refundable security deposit.
Deductions may be made for:

  • Damage.

  • Missing components.

  • Excessive cleaning.

  • Late return fees.

  • Breach of these Terms.


12. Insurance
The Customer is responsible for ensuring they have adequate personal insurance where desired.
Unless expressly stated in writing, EXOHIRE® does not provide personal accident insurance for Users.

13. Return of Equipment
Equipment must be returned:

  • On time.

  • In the same condition received, subject to fair wear and tear.

  • With all supplied components.

Late returns may incur additional charges.
Failure to return Equipment may result in recovery action and reporting to relevant authorities.

14. Bookings and Cancellations
Booking fees and hire charges must be paid in accordance with the booking confirmation.
Unless otherwise agreed:

  • Cancellations more than 48 hours before the hire period may receive a full refund.

  • Cancellations within 48 hours may be non-refundable.

EXOHIRE® reserves the right to cancel or reschedule bookings due to safety, operational, weather, or technical reasons.

15. Website Use
Users must not:

  • Attempt unauthorised access to our systems.

  • Distribute malware.

  • Copy website content without permission.

  • Use the website unlawfully.

All website content remains the property of EXOHIRE®.

16. Privacy
Personal information will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
By using our services, Customers consent to the collection and processing of data necessary to provide those services.

17. Indemnity
The Customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless EXOHIRE®, its directors, employees, contractors, and representatives against claims, actions, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from:

  • Misuse of Equipment.

  • Breach of these Terms.

  • Negligent acts or omissions.

  • Unauthorised use by third parties.


18. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
